Café Central
Café Central is one of the most legendary live music venues, located very close to Plaza de Santa Ana, in the well-known Plaza del Ángel number 10. Such is its popularity that in 2016 the famous British newspaper "The Guardian" included it in its list of the 10 best Jazz clubs in Europe.

It is necessary to book in advance, as it is difficult to find a table on the same day. There is one live concert per day, but with the coronavirus measures this has been extended to two.
There is an extensive menu for coffee, gin and tonics or even a variety of dishes to nibble on, such as their bravas or their special hamburger. Don't expect fast and comfortable service, it's a bit slow and sometimes you'll have to go to the bar to get your drinks and take them to the high stone tables.

El Junco Live Music
El Junco is located in the Plaza de Santa Bárbara. It is a small venue, but it has three well-defined areas: bar, concerts and a place to have a drink. There are daily jazz performances and on Tuesdays and Thursdays there are jam sessions.
On Fridays, Saturdays and the eve of public holidays there is an entrance fee of €10, which includes a drink. It stands out for being a temple for this music in all its variants, with emerging artists and local bands, but also with established groups. Drinks inside are €9 and beers are €6.

Bogui Jazz
Bogui Jazz is located on Calle Barquillo in Madrid, in the well-known neighbourhood of Chueca. The venue stands out for its carefully selected music, both by national and international artists, and for its unbeatable atmosphere.
The room is somewhat small and can be uncomfortable due to the proximity of the tables, but the music means that this can be overlooked. In fact, its small size adds to its charm, as the proximity to the stage makes it an intimate venue.
Sala Clamores
Sala Clamores is open until the early hours of the morning every day of the week. Located in Calle de Alburquerque, it has been open since 1979.
