Architecture of Order, the market for second chances
On the 6th, 7th and 8th of May, the Gran Hotel Inglés hosted a new Arquitectura del orden market. Its creators, Astrid and María, two lovers of decoration and second chances, have been organising events for years in which they show their love for vintage items, giving a second chance to household goods. After their participation in the Christmas market in December, they have decided to repeat with this event in this luxury hotel in Madrid. During these days you could enjoy their tea service, where you could taste a classic English tea, along with various accompaniments such as mini-sandwiches, pastries and warm scones, accompanied by a glass of champagne or a "blossom" cocktail.

In addition, that same Sunday, you could enjoy the Show Bruch offered by this 5-star hotel in Madrid's Barrio de las Letras district. This gastronomic proposal, designed by chef Fernando Arellano, could be tasted in LoBbyto, the gastro-cocktail bar of this luxury hotel in Madrid, and which is composed of an assortment of breads, starters, smoked meats, cold meats and appetizers to share, followed by the choice of a main: Eggs Benedict on English muffin with smoked salmon or avocado, or pastrami sandwich, handmade with melted tetilla cheese and pickles. The Grand Dessert, a selection of small sweets to share between two people, closes the menu. All accompanied by water, juices and coffee, as well as a glass of Mumm champagne or a cocktail, which you can choose from a Cosmopolitan, the French 75, a Mumm Kir Royale and the Expresso Martini.
But that's not all, since another of the brunch's highlights is its show, which, with a 1920s setting, has been receiving different performances over the last few Sundays. On Sunday 8 May, the multidisciplinary artist Ikah Moon performed, accompanied by the Cuban pianist Isbel Noa. Both managed to take the concert to another level, thanks to the chemistry that exists between them and thanks to their understanding of music with the same common ground.
