However, the real magic lies in getting lost in the lush nature that surrounds you. Here, you can design your own tailor-made hiking adventure, letting yourself be carried away by the charm of the moment. Although, of course, we offer you information on the four main trails that start from the small port of Cala Lladó:
- Tramuntana Lighthouse RouteThis 1.7-kilometre trail (round trip) starts from the jetty and will take you approximately one hour to walk. From this lighthouse, in operation since 1910, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the coast of Mallorca. In addition, it now serves as a museum, offering an interesting insight into lighthouse life and the routine of the lighthouse keepers.
- Old Lighthouse RouteBuilt in 1850 on the site of an old watchtower, the old lighthouse of Dragonera Island (na Pòpia) was dismantled in 1910. Although little remains of its installations, the panoramic views are well worth the effort to reach it. This 3.8-kilometre route is easy to walk and the terrain is gentle.
- Llebeig Lighthouse RouteThis 4.5-kilometre trail will take you approximately three hours (round trip) to this former lookout post. Built in 1905 to protect against pirate attacks, the Llebeig lighthouse is in a good state of conservation. In autumn, you can observe the flight of the sea hawk from here.
- Punta de na Miranda RouteThis easy route of just over 1 kilometre offers panoramic views of Cala Lladó. With a low difficulty, you can complete it in half an hour and you will also have the opportunity to observe the old cultivated fields, especially cereals and olive trees.
