History
Hotel with history in the heart of Palma de Mallorca
A love story, stone by stone
Moments that shape the history of a 5-star hotel in Palma.
YEAR 1576
The original building was built as the former curia of the Barony of Bunyolí.
It was born as the island's commercial epicentre, with a Gothic courtyard, Renaissance windows and jars for storing harvests.
YEAR 2009
Carmen Cordón and Ignacio Jiménez discover the building, hitherto forgotten.
They open a gate blocked by a landslide by hand... and history appears in front of them.
A building with soul. A dream to be restored.
YEAR 2014
Hidden Hotels is born with the opening of Posada Terra Santa.
A respectful restoration project begins, revealing five connected Gothic arches, historic jars and an original noble coat of arms.
Many of these elements are kept at the hotel; others are donated to the Archaeological Museum of Palma.
YEAR 2024
A complete renovation by the Rockwell Group, one of the most prestigious interior design studios in the world.
The building is reborn as a 5-star hotel in Palma de Mallorca, where comfort, design and history blend naturally.

Where it all began: the origin of Hidden Hotels
Posada Terra Santa was the first project of Carmen Cordón and Ignacio Jimenez and with this hotel, Hidden Hotels was born, a collection of unique boutique hotels, authentic hidden pearls that pay tribute to their historical legacy, offering an exceptional luxury experience.
Here a new way of understanding travel was born: not as a getaway, but as a re-encounter with authenticity, an experience that will remain in the memory.
A story that continues... Posada Terra Santa is more than a hotel with history in Mallorca.
It is a home for curious spirits, for those who value detail and the serene beauty of charming hotels. Because some stories are made to be told.
And others, to live them.
